A simple calculator for calculating concrete mixing proportions, based on concrete compositions.
The application allows to calculate the mixing proportions of concrete components: water, cement, sand, and gravel.
In the app, it is possible to change the default values for each component, or to use the ones, which are given in the application.
The application has two modes. In the first, it is possible to calculate the mixing proportions for a concrete with a fixed composition. In the second, it is necessary to specify the concrete composition. In this case, it is possible to use water, cement, sand, and gravel as the components.
After the components have been selected, the application calculates the mixing proportions of the components. It is necessary to specify the desired mobility level of the mixture, in order to be able to make a proper calculation.
In addition, it is possible to check whether the desired frost-resistance and watertightness are achievable with given values of the components.
The application will also check whether the selected components are compatible with each other, and will suggest what type of additional additives should be introduced in the concrete mix if required.
The application is useful for making a concrete sample, in order to check whether the desired characteristics are achievable.
